This class is an invitation to our growing artists to explore ideas, learn new skills and experience different art mediums. Participants will create through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, cardboard sculpture, and weaving. Participants will learn about influential artists and movements and begin to understand very basic art elements, principles of design and color theory. Participants will complete several works over each 6 week session, working with peers and instructor to encourage a sense of community.

Each 6 week session offers a new area of concentration and exploration and is open to any participant regardless of previous participation.
